Hey! I was wondering if anyone has recommendations on ways to record on a Nintendo Switch. Right now, I'm planning to record with my phone while the switch is connected to the TV but if I can, I wanna be able to record in a less tedious way
And yes, I'm new to this site. With speed running though, I've done this for over a year. I had a full run as Milla (casual mode) where my time was 83 min, but I hadn't realized until later that it was a fast time, so I didn't save any proof. My goal now is to beat that time in a full run as her (so I can have proof, and for fun)

You should be able to stream the data to a computer if you have a capture card. That can be done with either a USB capture device or a card that plug directly into a desktop computer.
I have never streamed/recorded on console so I cannot recommend specific devices. Through osmosis Elgato is a brand that comes to mind.
I had taken a look as I thought the switch could capture VODs, but those are only for the last 30 seconds.
