Hello there, I trust you all have been well.

Ran across this hack of "Final Fantasy Legend II" a few years ago. Was able to make contact with the creator 'Lightning Hunter' and beta tested it until version 2.0 was ready. As many times as I have replayed this hack, I think I am ready to attempt a speed run of it. Before that, I believe the current moderators need to check it out before a sub-board/forum can be created for it. Also, unsure if the leaderboards can mirror the vanilla game ?

I will review the hack this weekend. The leaderboards are largely variable due to all the different categories.

Update, I have had some time to review the hack, it is a pretty good hack. However when it comes to a new leaderboard for rom hacks, there is a prerequisite for number of people running it or popularity. If more people show interest in formulating a route and running the game, I will consider adding it to the leaderboards.

For the "formulating a route" part, what does that entail ? I would be happy to share my notes on speeding through the game (to help new runners).

Toorima, another one of our mod team here, is also doing a run of the hack and has been enjoying it so far. As for formulating a route, you can submit a guide here and title it with the category it applies to, for your notes about the speedrun route so far.

Nice, I caught his blind-stream (on the highest difficulty) on YouTube. Did seem like they had a fun time using advanced level speedrun tactics to make it through the hack. Almost got my route finished and will post a guide here after completing a successful run !
