Why is chapter 1 actually the hardest chapter in the game?

Jokes aside, even though this run was a mess I am so happy to finally get the 1:20 =D. Was originally planning to swap to Golden Deer once I got it but this run was sloppy enough I've become motivated to keep pushing Black Eagles.
