Relegating this one to the "good enough" pile: it was initially my plan to do a single attempt of this and move on, and my first attempt made it all the way to the final map before experiencing catastrophic failure...then I was treated to a month's worth of runs where things went wrong over and over. Attempt #29 was the first to make it all the way through with no losses, which feels like a worse ratio than what I'm used to for this game and I'm not sure if it was just a case of consistently bad luck or if this version specifically has quirks that kept catching me off guard.

I would be curious to know what the exact differences are between DC and PS2, if there's coding or timing changes that make one version technically preferable to speedrun. I don't know if there's ever going to be an appetite for someone to dig that deep into how this game functions to give definitive answers on that front, so I'd say follow your heart and play whatever port speaks to your inner Goligan the most.
