Very big announcement today! A new (hopefully annual) community event for Halloween called the Costume Quest Halloween Speedrun Challenge. The challenge for CQ2 is to beat the sewers while collecting the werewolf costume. The fastest time by the end of the month gets $50. Have you ever wanted to hold such a prestigious title like the World Record Holder of Costume Quest 2 Any%? Well you can now with this new Any% tutorial. All of my knowledge over the past 6 years of running this game has been injected into this video so that you too can become the greatest.

100% is no longer requiring to trick-or-treat at all the houses. This is due to the fact that it is more of an arbitrary 100% requirement rather than something that the game considers 100%. It’s also something that could be missed in a run without a way to go back later, giving more reason to remove it from the requirements.
