I'd also like to say that the rules as they are rn don't leave much room to improvement due to blocking entries from previous patches, which is not common from what I've seen in other games. Either that or creating categories for each patch/age should spark new competitions imo.

You got categories for different versions of the game. We will update with more accurate info and instructions on exact patches to run. If we get a more active community we will consider to separate game versions as own categories. For now, use the filter so see runs for your desired version.

In my opinion each patch has a different strat and is based on available weapon (easiest to acquire) - thus making the leaderboard as is right now a comparison of best time - all time/any patch. But not at all a fair comparison between runners.

I agree and we had talks about it in discord. It is the way it is now so we have a populated frontpage. This discussion will continue and I hope we can push for a separated category list. One part of this is to push information on how we can swap between game versions and with that, establish exactly what versions we want to use for runs. That deep dive will happens here where we can rollback to older versions of the game:
