So, apparently you can get OOB right from the beginning of alien jungle mission by running on the tree and tearing off from it straight onto the cliff from which the gates can be walked around. I haven't seen anyone talking abt it, but would be interesting to find out how actually useful it is

How do you reliably tear off the terrain?

You can easily drop down to the gate and trigger the checkpoint, then insta reload checkpoint and be placed behind the gate ready for the next skip, still testing it out and all that, getting a constant 90% OOB.

This could be a really cool time save.

Yeah, this should save a few seconds. Nice.

It would be a close time save but it does skip the waiting for the jumps into the vents!
