I wanted to get a run for every level before submitting them but as always I'm so great at finishing up what I've started so no progress yet. Playing those other levels is still something I'd like to do in the future, but for now, I'm submitting this 1.5 months late lol.
2D platformers are interesting. They're all similar to each other, so despite having no experience in Appel (apart from getting the inevitable 18.93 L1 years ago, I only played L9 for a few days and that's the only instances of me playing this game). Therefore, reaching times near the top is kinda easy (hear me out, I'm explaining my point in all seriousness), since I already have the bases required for it - I've used those arrow keys to play platformers my whole life, I'm familiar with the controls, timing, reflexes, the mechanics in general. However, what the actual top players have done with the game is far beyond what any newcomer like me can achieve, even if it looks like just a couple frames, because by playing this game specifically for more than a trivial amount of time, they've developed the skills, of course, specific to this game. And that, I do not have yet.

For those of you not in the discord server, we are doing a collaboration with the Level Devil speedrunning community (with a bit of friendly competition to see who can do better on the others game). I believe the collab runs until October 24th, so if you feel inclined, check out their game, and mayb
