Hello everyone, after a community poll in our Discord server and discussion, it has been decided that EMG (Edit Menu Glitch seen in this Guide https://www.speedrun.com/aoh2/guides/p2abk) will be banned from all previous and future speedruns, this is because another glitch (a simple Save and Quit) has the same effects the EMG variable was intended for, this is the reloading of civilizations and vassals to load new formable civilizations, and unlike a simple Save and Quit, EMG requires you to start a new game, being contradictory to the purpose of playing a single game and playing within it.

The community has agreed to this change, and EMG is now banned in all main leaderboards, all current speedruns within the variable will be deleted. HOWEVER, it is planned that possibly soon, formable civilizations will be added to the Category Extensions leaderboard, in which EMG is one of the suggested categories to run in, all speedruns deleted from here will be added to a spreadsheet where they will be on hold until this is made a reality.

Hello everyone, we are glad to announce that Age of History 3 is finally out, as a community we hope to moderate the speedruns of the new version, but to do so we need a first run.

If you already have the game and think you know enough to make a Speedrun, go for it, send a message to any of the mods with the link to your run, and add which category should it be, we are still understanding the game so new categories will be created depending on what we find.

THANK YOU!

Idk, I'm just based, let's go, anyways I don't know how news posts function so I guess this will be mostly for updates about the game so I'm gonna do that when that's needed
