Speedrunning Arena fights sounds like a lot of fun.

Do you have an example run video with the rules you're suggesting for an arena speedrun?

I tried to upload a comment/ video of the run - but it got rejected for some reason. My rules would be that the in game timer must be visable - even if a split timer is used - though with hundreds of runs of 5 seconds or less on them - I have no idea how the timer's gonna keep up, and no mods.

Once im back from Adelaide for Ausspeedrun marathon I might create a mock-up. Sound like a fun category.

Oh, so you're thinking like short arena ILs, not a full arena run.

Honestly, for fights that short, using in-game time or even just the video itself is probably the way to go. Manually splitting would be impractical as you suggested.

Yeah ingame timer would be the only real way to do it. I'm working on a sub 4 second run of Freud right now - but it's down to FRAMES and I can't figure out how to get it done faster.

My starter AC vs Freud record is :30. A better pilot /my future self could probably shave ten seconds off.
