All Data Chip locations for 100%

There are a total of 10 Data Chips in the game: 5 Barrier Wing chips and 5 Megatron chips. Collecting all 10 is required to complete a 100% run. This guide lists every chip location and includes images to help you find them. Use the minimap in the top-right corner of each image for precise positioning.

Every Weapon Base and Special Attack damage

All 5 weapons ranked by base damage:

1. **E-Crusher (Weapon 3):** 13 damage per hit
2. **Megatron (Weapon 5):** 12 damage per hit
3. **X-Sabre (Weapon 1):** 10 damage per hit
4. **G-Slicer (Weapon 4):** 9 damage per hit
5. **S-Hurricane (Weapon 2):** 9 damage per hit

G-Slicer and S-Hurricane share base damage value of 9.

All 5 weapons ranked by special attack damage:

1. **E-Crusher (Weapon 3):** 15 damage per hit
2. **Megatron (Weapon 5):** 15 damage per hit
3. **X-Sabre (Weapon 1):** 9 damage per hit
4. **S-Hurricane (Weapon 2):** 7 damage per hit
5. **G-Slicer (Weapon 4):** 3 damage per hit

E-Crusher and Megatron share the 1st spot.

Note: damage is calculated per hit. For example, G-Slicer’s low special damage is explained by its multi-hit nature.

### Additional Notes:

- **Weapon level scaling:** As the weapon level increases (color upgrades), all damage values are multiplied equally. This means the ranking remains consistent at any weapon level.
- **Barrier Wing (Hyper Armor):** When active, this reduces incoming damage to 66% of the original value (34% less damage).

Important Xenos Tips

### Level Select Events

After completing certain conditions in a level (such as defeating boss 1 and 2 to get a new weapon or collecting a chip), the game will trigger extra dialogue and sometimes a label event in the level select screen.

There is a very short window before these events trigger where you can still select the next level. You don't actually have to click the level perfectly on that window, as by holding the spacebar before the event appears, you can instantly enter the level and skip the delay.



### Level completion

After destroying the final generator or finishing the last dialogue (for bosses), a level completion label event appears.

You can skip this entirely by quitting out immediately after the last generator explodes or the last dialogue is finished. However, if you collect items in the level (chips or weapons), quitting early will prevent them from being saved, so only quit out in levels where you don't collect chips or you don't get a weapon you want to use.



### Boss kills

For bosses, **Weapon 3** should always be used for maximum damage. Exception for this rule is boss 1, where Weapon 3 is not yet available, so **Weapon 1** should be used instead.

For optimal damage, make your weapon yellow at the beginning of the boss fight and try to keep it in yellow for the rest of the fight.

Every boss has at least two large energy pickups in the arena. These alone are almost enough to reach yellow, but you will also need to collect one small energy drop from the boss by hitting it. To maintain the weapon at yellow, keep hitting it aggressively and collect the small energy it drops (this is especially important for the final boss).
