Fear is really strong, units are submitted to leadership checks (which causes fear) when they're fired upon, charged, when they loose units. A very strong fear is when an enemy charges your regiment and you counter-charge that regiment, especially from a flank or even better from behind. It can cause destruction to an enemy regiment in an instant.
Charge is a good mechanic for faster movement, but remember to move the troops after finishing charging. After a charge some will straggle, and they will rejoin formation while stationary - unless you move them, then you can move them forward while rein reform formation.
Charging from the flank or from behind has a chance to roll a massive damage bonus, really strong for cavalry. It is worth it baiting an enemy and then moving around it to charge it from behind for that bonus.
Chapter 1
Level 1 - The first group of Goblin Archers will, when they flee or die, trigger the 2nd wave from the side. There's loot at the houses to the left.
Level 2 - Destroying or causing 2 enemy formations to flee will trigger the Orc Boars to come forth. The small Orc Boyz formation have a Potion of Strength, it is possible to snipe them with the x-bows, cannon and Grudgebringer Sword before they are able to consume it, giving an edge against the boars or for future battles.
Level 3 - Killing the farther Zombie regiment trigger the next Ghoul regiment. The important thing about this level is when to block the graveyard with a regiment. If you do, the zombies will spawn at the side of the graveyard and thus can rapidly destroyed. However making Ghouls spawn at the side seem to incur a time penalty and should be avoided.
Level 4 - Destroying a brigand company trigger the final 2 waves to spawn. If you already have units there the Necromancer will teleport away and you don't have to deal with him.
Bogenhafen and the Helmgarts are basically auto scrollers, more or less only the last fights matter. Use a potion of strength for those.
Level 7 (Axebite) - Tricky level. Will need to investigate it more.
