Can the rules for melee only be updated to show what weapons are allowed to be used? I did a run and didn't use the chainsaw because I assumed it was banned, as the electric lance is banned and they are the same type of weapon, which is a short ranged melee type weapon. May I ask why one is allowed and the other is banned? Thanks all! Appreciate ya.

Also, if we keep locking the threads it really prevents the community from chiming in with their thoughts on matters and it feels like mods are the only ones who get a say in how the leaderboard functions. I would love to chat with fellow fans of the game and hear their thoughts as well. THX

This is something we have ACTIVELY been discussing and are looking to adjust. We lock the thread because we had a similar conversation in the Discord. You left and now have went to the forums to post the exact same topics once again and the answer has been said.

As of now like said previously, all melee weapons are allowed. Electric Lance is still being discussed whether we want it to be permitted. Will update the SRC page and this forum if any changes occur.

To update this topic, a better rule set to clarify what is allowed has been listed in the melee category and have decided that Electric Lance is no longer banned due to it being accessible to everyone now! Happy running!
