true i saw some speedruns on here where they were doing those things and honestly i do think thats prep, only cuz u are doing an action or ability before pressing the start button, which in my eyes, doing any action before the time is started is considered preparation.

-ALSO- i have a medal run thats 1st place and there was a speed run rejected, only cuz it was medal. (shooting gallery easy)

I assume prep would be tampering with the arena in some kind of way (canisters, deployables) before starting the timer and I can see how you could consider bow draw prep but I think the variability between piling up burning barrels and just drawing a bow before pressing E is too wide. Up to the moderators at this point 🤷‍♂️. (Deleted my previous reply as my edits weren't going through)

@nova117, @looking4this I personally have no way to download medal runs and time them according to protocol. The time counted for the speedrun isn't the ingame timer but the frame timer for a video, which is standard for speedruns.

Seems like @Tr4tolo26 does have a way to measure medal posts, so maybe he can review yours. It's standard procedure to post your runs to youtube, that's pretty much the global standard over this entire site, so I'd also prefer if you'd do that regardless.
