Without suspecting anything, I decided to set up a speedrun. exposed. At first it was rejected for obvious reasons. and then I submitted a speedrun again and it was rejected due to the fact that I used FCEUX
So I don’t think I can explain it well, but here is the SMB1’s moderation team’s explanation for why FCEUX is banned;
The accuracy of FCEUX has come into question following 108Pi's discovery that the current SMB1 Warpless TAS desyncs on Mesen and Bizhawk due to a lag frame that does not occur on FCEUX's default settings. While recent versions of FCEUX are more accurate when the "New PPU" setting is enabled, FCEUX is still questionable from an integrity standpoint due to a large number of faked submissions having been performed on it. In addition, SeraphmIII discovered that movie playback can be made nearly undetectable with a single one-byte edit made to the executable file.
I hope you understand why FCEUX is banned. If you want to submit a run, I would reccomended using either Nestopia or MesenRTA, as these are allowed emulators that top runners use.
It's clear! I thought that it was easy to use cheats or something else related to cheats, but it turns out that this reason is much more complicated than I thought! I ended up downloading MesenRTA
For future runs, audio must be present or your run will be rejected. This is to prevent any cheated runs from popping up.
