As far as I know, this is the very first on-rail shooter ever to come to the arcade. An unlicensed Star Wars production, it also might be the very first Star Wars based game period. We are doing the Death Star trench run blasting ships that fly at us in waves. There were a hundred employees jobs riding on the main programmer making this game, and he programmed it on paper before he ever had the tools to make the game on the main board! The cabinet is also notable in that this was a time before the game industry had decided that joysticks go in the left hand, so the joystick is situated on the right.
