Squad Busters is ending development and servers will be shutting early 2026

As for us, leaderboards will be up and open for submissions, when they release all the road map content they had been working on then there may be 1 or 2 categories added but then who knows

It's kinda sad but I saw this coming from a mile away so...

welcome to Squad Busters Speedrunning 2.0!

so we have made some big changes! so to start lets go over the categories.

First that the Tutorial category is back! and we have 2 types of ways with either hero!

we have new categories for Gem Hunt and Showdown where you must complete a match as fast as

possible! (and maybe with a friend...)

Training Bots has been changed to now have separate categories for each hero! and Busted% is also back.

the discord has had some minor changes and will have some new things added in the future!

Now for something big... we are announcing a League! this is a Trial run to see how people feel but

there will be more detailed announcement coming soon, however here is a little rundown basically every

3 days a random category will be selected and every run of that category will be put into a mini board

and you will receive points based on your time on this mini leaderboard and whoever has the most points

at the end of the month some neat rewards will be earned for the winner (and possibly top 3)

this is JUST A TRIAL and if it doesn't receive attention then we will kill it off

Keep squadding and we will announce the first category soon!

sorry for the leaderboards being dead obviously the game hasnt been updated in months however here we are!

because of Squad Busters 2.0 we have some work to do trying to get the boards fresh and new so we are going to be out of commission for a day or two!

we hope to bring some exciting new things that will really push us to be a more fun community!

keep playing and we will see you in Squad!

As pointed out to me the tutorial had changed so I added the Obsolete category for any category made a big change so there is a new Tutorial and Squad Journey categories!

so there is a chance at a free World Record!

August 9th 2024

So after Cafki pointed out some flaws I have updated the boards and are here to share with you what has changed!

• ALL runs include milliseconds instead of just runs that end on the same second

• Start timing for Busted% (Training) and Training Bots has changed to the first movement of character instead of it previously being when you tap the training button

• Bandit has finally added to the starting character selection (sorry I forgot)

• Training Bots now end on the first frame of the final bot disappearing off screen!

Also get ready for the new stuff later tomorrow as there will be new characters and maybe categories

Everything being added to the boards this update!

Categories:

• Ice World will be added as a Sub-Category in the Squad Journey category

• Jessie, Ice Wizard, Dr. T and Bandit will be added to the Training Bots category as a Starting Character option as they release

• Maybe new category for Colts Bounty?

So the Tutorial category has had its timing changed and this will affect a few other categories:

• Starting on first movement takes out any load time
• Finishing on the FINISH text means easier and faster resets and takes out any unnecessary gameplay

As some of you may have seen the new Category Training Bots and I'm here to tell you all about it!

What is the Objective?

The objective is to kill all the bots in the map!

What if I don't have the best Character?

We thought long and hard about this but we cant have 100+ Boards so we have added a variable where runners say what their character was and you can compare!

and this makes it easier to know the best characters at this moment!

What if I don't have the Super/Ultra versions?

because their is only 4 possible outcomes then we can add subcategories so you will only be on a board with people of the same evolution as you
