Hello there, I just noticed with all any% ILs having at least 1 submission each. I thought it would be cool to make up a list of the community's SOB (sum of best). Showing how fast the speedrun could be if it was played with human perfection. This is naturally never possible as some levels are quite optimized (as in 1 frames away from running into spikes or nailing tight jumps...) and there will always be some human error during full game runs. But it's still sweet to know what the theoretical human limit could be.
Since Coin IL's haven't fully been submitted yet for each level, I'll upload some missing runs and update the Coin SOB later.
As of the 13th of February 2026 (13/02/2026) the community totals are:
Any% - SOB
- W-1 - 26.660
- W-2 - 32.380
- W-3 - 29.540
- W-4 - 31.230
- W-5 - 42.480
- W-6 - 35.790
- W-7 - 32.490
A total of 230.570 or (3 minutes, 50 seconds & 570 milliseconds)
Coins - SOB
- W-1 - 31.130
- W-2 - 43.240
- W-3 - 42.530
- W-4 - 45.240
- W-5 - 53.680
- W-6 - 47.670
- W-7 - 41.320
A total of 304.810 or (5 minutes, 4 seconds & 810 milliseconds)
The road for a sub 3:50 SOB has been opened for the Any% category. Some levels are hitting the barrier, BUT there's timesave for sure on some levels. I don't see a 3:40 happening very soon due to human limitations, but I wouldn't be surprised if that were to be possible with either tighter gameplay or new strats in the near future! Maybe some new found glitch that could save time? Who knows... Let's see how low we can take this. :D
With the coin ILs updated as well, I see we're pretty close to a solid plain 5 minutes. So the road for a sub 5 Coin SOB is also on it's way. The coins obviously take longer, and whilst all IL's are submitted, I'm pretty sure it's easier to find timesaves on the coin ILs. GL to all who wants to help out shaving off frames and getting this current goal of sub 5 for the coins!
I will be updating this post from time to time in the future! GL y'all and let's lower that time!
Hello there everyone!
Kichex here, someone pointed out that the discord invite link was broken so I just updated it with a link that doesn't expire.

Kichex (The developer) released a new update for this game!
Speed Squared 1.3 contains 16 brand new levels (world 6 and 7). More fun & more challenge.

This means that the leaderboards will need to be updated for any% and 100% runs depending on which version the game has been played on. As things look now, there will probably be no changes for ILs, these just need to be added.
But I think it's fair to split up these versions with a 40 levels run and a 56 levels run for now... that way the older runs that finished the game from start till end before the update are still legit in their own right.
Unless the developer has any more updates in mind for the near future... which in that case we'll have to split up depending updates.
I will update the categories soon and update the rules a bit as well. The new runs pending with this new update will be checked asap.
I'm waiting for an official response from Kichex ( @PolygonSwarm ) to know if any changes have been made so that the 40 levels category can be played on v1.3 as well. Until then I will verify those runs but keep them pending in the time being before officialy veryfing them
