I think it's a neat little gimmick that might be useful at low ranks if stuck in the pack or something, but other than that its a pretty clear net negative over just drifting that corner.

The meager 100kph from the pad is not enough to offset the 150kph+ and half a bar of turbo charge you'd get from drifting instead of flying there.

While I do not think this pad is viable. It is an interesting concept to ponder How worth it it would be to use a dusk dash/aurapad Tech to get 200kph instead of 100kph from that pad.

You might be able to make it worth it while keeping the drift boost from the drift around the corner and then dusk dashing. But it's just a wild concept.
