So I managed to find a quick way to skip Curt'N Call without doing any major sequence breaks. I have the full vid on how listed below but since this is for actual speedrun stuff I'll just straight up explain it.
In the Offices, after grabbing the front door key, once you go down the elevator into the hall that would normally lead to the CC fight, you can actually use low framerates and candy bars to clip through the trigger and prevent CC from spawning at all. This doesn't skip any areas, use the garden gate clip, it just skips the CC boss. Whether or not it will be allowed is up in the air because I had to use an external program to lower my framerate, but there may be other ways to do this without the use of external programs.
Additionally, this may open the way for a Pacifist % or a Minimum Hit Pacifist % category. Since the puppets are largely static save for Pearl and Goblette there's definitely a potential for complex routing to discover what the fewest possible hits Gordon can take while doing the pacifist run since you obviously can't knock puppets down.
So I guess the main question is twofold: Should this method of Curt'N Call Skip be allowed if using framerate slowdown tools, or failing that if we can work on finding another way to clip through the trigger. The next question is would creating a Pacifist Minimum Hit % run be worthwhile?
A Pacifist% category already exists in our category extensions although nobody has been able to do a Pacifist% No Major Glitches run yet, but now that it is possible it would be up for debate if the use of that external program would be viable only for that specific category unless we can find another way to skip the boss or lower framerate. If enough people would be interested we could possibly move the Pacifist% categories over to the main game speedrun.com page as our category extensions page is less known.
(Also great video btw, very funny and entertaining!)
Yeah, the external program is the sticking point. On one hand you could argue that all this tool is doing is throttling GPU speed, which you could also do by just having a really bad computer, but I get the hesitation to use outside programs. Still, since this one is ONLY affecting framerate for lag strats, I'd argue it may be allowable. And yeah, I think if this gets allowed it could be a fun main category, and then Pacifist Minimum Damage% could be an extension from there.
(And thanks! The video was a ton of fun to make!)
I tried to look for something to skip the trigger without the external program and I actually found something. All you need is around 3 chocolate bars and windowed mode.
While the game is in windowed mode you can grab the game's window to slowdown/freeze the game, it will have similar effect like with the tool. If you hold the window while walking near the trigger you can walk through it without triggering it. Not sure how hard is to pull it off since I used a self-made mod to see where the triggers are.
I'll ask for people's opinion on the server if it's allowed for NMG runs. The impossible run might finally be possible
Great find! Where was the trigger placed, by the way? From what I could tell it was just about lined up with one of the last golden records on the wall in the hallway after the elevator.
The glitch I found wll not be allowed in NMG runs as it forces the game to lag (decreases resources for the game) and it's something you do outside the game (grabbing the window).
The trigger is a little bit after the last golden records. You can skip the trigger in two rooms, but DUSK mode is needed for that. I'm sending images here so you can see the triggers better.

What tool are you using to visualize those triggers? I'd be very interested to investigate the area myself using that.
I created a mod that shows the triggers in the game. It also reenables FreeCamera mode that was hidden in the code. Everything you need to know is in the readme.txt https://drive.google.com/file/d/16WVph4KP1WptxyaARa4Q-l6aWTstNQNJ/view?usp=sharing
