Live splits is a program that makes it so you have a timer present in the recording of your runs. The program is required to submit a run, any run without live splits, will be immediately denied.

This tutorial [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xq2MCodtH34&t=573s&pp=ygUQc21hbGwgbGl2ZSBzcGxpdA%3D%3D) by Smallant will help you set it up.

Live splits

The recording software doesn't need to be specific, as long as the quality of video and sound are decent. We recommend OBS studios, but that might be a struggle to set up.

Recording software

The generic split names are:
LEVEL 1
LEVEL 2
LEVEL 3
LEVEL 4
LEVEL 5
UNSKIPPABLE (its a cutscene)
BOSS/END

Of course you are allowed to change the names to something better, but you need to include the same amount of splits which is a total of 7 splits.

What are the splits?

cantrodk

Methuselah

Plockrosity

MrPineapple36

Akuretaki

Pacifist

Sacrifice

Genocide

Boss end

Pacifist sub-category, is played by not killing a single "crewmate", and ending with the sacrifice route.

Pacifist

Complete the game like normal, but choose the sacrifice ending, and shot yourself to end the run.

The genocide end is achieved by killing ALL the "crewmates" and thereafter killing the boss to end the run.

The boss end is achieved when you have completed all the levels and killed the boss.
