**Game mode**

- Open World: inter-world warps, certain sequence breaks, and 62x farming boosts (reconfigurable). Choose if you want an open-world game.
- Closed World: no warps or sequence breaks, and 1x farming boosts (not reconfigurable). Choose if you want normal progression.

**Game type** - can mix and match with game mode

- LvlUp: random job each level up (default).
- Fiesta: random job each level up until job-recording criteria is met (see Fiesta style); no more new rolls afterwards.

**Fiesta style**

- 4 Jobs Each (default): each character records 4 rolls, Freelancer and Mime excluded; no character duplicates; party duplicates OK. 16 rolls total.
- 20 Jobs: each character records 5 rolls, Freelancer and Mime excluded; no character duplicates; no party duplicates (can roll these (called "internships"), but they won't be recorded). Ensures all other jobs are covered.

**LvlUp style**

- 98 Jobs Each: random job each level up (default).
- Vanilla: disable random job each level up. Gain access to Jobs menu.

**Vanilla jobs** - Vanilla-style only

- Crystal (default): unlock jobs at crystals, just like in vanilla.
- Early: all jobs are unlocked at game start.

**Encounters**

- Optimum: encounters on (default).
- None: encounters off. Only works after you've beaten the game in a non-vanilla run.

**Chest Rando**

- Chest: don't randomize chest items (default).
- Random: randomize chest items.

**Enemy Rando**

- Enemy: don't randomize enemies (default).
- Random: randomize enemies.

**Shop Rando**

- Equip: randomize Nothing (default) | Equips | Weapons | Armor.
- Magic: randomize Nothing (default) | Magic.
- Item: randomize Nothing (default) | Items.

**Drop Rando**

- Bonanza: get eight random drops after each battle.

# Backup Seeds for Chaos Softlocks

In the case of softlocks due to random enemies, Chaos players can use a first backup seed in all caps and, if that also softlocks, a second backup seed in all lowercase.  Resetting to switch seeds in this context lets you to restart your run timer.

Have one or more Berserkers when beating the game.

# Rift

Beat all bosses in the Interdimensional Rift.  Superbosses not needed.  Requires beating Neo Exdeath beforehand or afterward.  Game-clear perks OK to use.

# Super

Beat Shinryu and Omega.  Requires beating Neo Exdeath beforehand or afterward.  Game-clear perks OK to use.

# Ultra

Bear Shinryu, Omega, and Gil Turtle in the same formation.  Requires beating Neo Exdeath beforehand or afterward.  Game-clear perks OK to use.

# Gogo

Defeat Gogo without doing nothing.  Requires beating Neo Exdeath beforehand or afterward.  Game-clear perks OK to use.
