There has been a poll in the community about unbanning client lag, which ended with a 9-1 vote in favor of allowing it. This means client lag, also known as freezing or tabbing, is allowed for all categories that allow glitches. Server lag on the other hand, losing connection to the game's server, is still not allowed with the only exception being challenge runs (Minimum jumps for example).
