for some reason when i click 'e' on the truck i dont get a speed boost but instead just shrink, is there something im supposed to do?

Idk, it should be working, because there haven't been any patches lately, try to check local files, or reinstall the game

restarting the computer makes the game smoother i tried it while i was playing fnf

I think the problem might be in the key settings or game configuration - try checking the control settings or see if there is a patch from the developer.
