So like, we probably can't or shouldn't do this. But what if we have it where no additional help can be provided for all speedruns (only allow 1 player speedruns) so you don't need a buddy to set up deathwraps? I know all the reasons on why you would disagree, but it's just a thought to make things easier
Maybe make it a subcategory for 1 player or more players. I know this would probably be a pain to reorganize all the current runs with more than one person thought.
