Im just mad confused because the "full game" is just season 1 now so im assuming there should be different categories for different seasons And also the season 1 boss wasnt included in the old speedruns so im just wondering how all of that even works out now. Also you can straight up just speed up the game so i literally have no clue how that fits in as well

to be honest, i've just been off of the game for a while. this weekend i'll try to work on updating the speedrun leaderboards. when you say you can "speed up the game", what do you mean by that? is that a feature they added?

okay, i just took a quick look at some of the updates, and here is the planned revamp of the speedrun page:

add seasons 2-4

add the halloween dlc

add the christmas dlc

speed up WILL be allowed as i think you should be rewarded for playing the game at a higher speed

i'll play through all of the new content and see if anything else needs to be added

What are you gonna do about the in game speed run timer being affected by speeding up?? because if you use livesplit then it will track real time and if you use the in game timer then it will track relative time accounting for the speed up

i think we'll just have to go back to livesplit unfortunately. what do you think? do you think we should just use in game timer and have speed up be useless or use livesplit?

I would probably pick livesplit because i think it makes more sense to get rewarded for going faster IMO. But if that becomes true then we would probably have to retime some of the more recent submitted runs so im not entirely sure how to go about this
