It was a concept I did think of in the past, I wouldnt mind adding as you say an Unlock Dragon Arena type of run, but would rather not add a seccondary any% to all the categories since we will have 20+ categories one for w/capsules and one without

At this point everyone has gone by the set up that is used now also to be fair the rules where not telling u everything need for the runs.

Well we should talk with everyone what we should do about the rules. Also some ppl do care about DBZ runs and I think it rude to say that. Like AA, Log games, and others .

I can see your fustration when I decided to do Budokai 3 I went in with a 'blind' mentality where I just wanted to learn on the fly, I checked with Micsoul prior to learning and he told me just make sure the Character is Lvl 1 I was not aware that history shows people not using capsules and I did and still do not see any rules underneath the category description, sure I should of checked but I didn't see a need since this game wasnt demanding with runners when I started (being one of the early runners) we can make solutions for this but I think this is something that should be discussed by the community to get a vast variety of opinions then tally a poll but my options I suggest are

A- Making Goku Any% Goku NG+ (Yay for 492304823908 Categories)
B- Sticking with what we have an defying in the rules that we allow capsules but must be on Level 1
C- Allow any level Any Capsules for NG+ and Lvl 1 nothing for Any% so basically like option 1
D- Delete all NG+ Type runs have basically close to little on the leaderboards and only allow Any% from now on

I will apologize since I brought many runners to this game and many people got into this game watching me so they followed how I did the runs so I am partly to blame for an inconsistency in the leaderboards and making lilduke and slayers runs looks less noticable due to outclasssing there times because of capsules

I was the one that deleted it srry was going to fix all the rules for it

The rules were removed weeks ago when we renovated the series leaderboards overall I left Micsoul in charge of retyping the rules. I am fully okay with Kakori's idea it would be similar to the KH Leaderboards with sub categories for each character Any% / Any% (Capsules) / NG+ (Any Lvl/Capsules).

The argument Mic was trying to explain that All Stories would have to be NG+, since getting characters like Broly takes multiple Playthroughs and I doubt that would be appealing to anyone tbh but its up to the community

We have tested Kakori's Idea in Krillen Story as visual representation of how it will work, please give it a look and tell us if you like the idea or want to look into other solutions

About the broly story thing i feel should be left up to the ppl that run that route cause i don't know to much of that route.

Hey guys! I'm brand new to speedrunning, and I would like to start with Budokai 3. It's a childhood favorite of mine. I was curious about the rules. Can someone post them? I'd like them to be written out if that's okay. My first though was, "Oh. No rules? I'll just get a lv 99 Goku and trash each run." I'm going to guess that's not allowed, but as of now it isn't against the rules.

at lest reset the states and bring it back to lvl1 idk rules for this game i missed up and need to be fixed
