We had a blind race of this game at MysteryFunHouse today. My SRL time is 01:46:27 (http://www.speedrunslive.com/races/game/#!/deblob2ds/1). By the timing rules here, it should work out to 1:46:01 if I measured correctly.
Run on DeSmuME 0.9.11 with "Limit framerate" enabled, and with "Dual SPU Synch/Asynch" audio sync, hence the crackling sound.
