There is one more type of people who like to theorycraft D2 speedrun strategies. That is coders who write self-leveling bots for D2. Usually singleplayer and hobby projects. I could post a few youtube videos but not sure if I can here.

Anyways, would the speedrunning D2 community welcome such efforts with it's own category or let botter burn in Nine Hells as they deserve? Because, you know, hobby projects are not the same people who supply D2 item shops...

I like this idea, there was a Discord community and couple Twitch streams some time ago where bot speedruns were hosted. They were fun runs to watch, I think it's fair to call them TAS as well.

Only thing that needs to happen is to set the standards and rules before it can be setup.

TAS Runs exist in most games, don't see why they shouldn't exist in D2.
