So, 2 years ago, you all banned emulators for PS2 because it's kinda trash. Is it any better now?
Focusing specifically on PS2. That is beyond saving with any current working emulator and DobieStation is the savior when that can actually run games more efficiently (baby steps).
(Also fun fact: PCSX2 actually shot themselves in the foot recently by straight admitting accuracy is no longer on the table since they don't want to overhaul COP2/VU0/EE synchronization.)
For GameCube cause come on there's more than just PS2. Dolphin has a few minor faster than actual GameCube/Wii Load Times so it unfortunately has the miss for now. I'm probably neglecting lag as well so I'll leave that to someone who actually owns the system.
As of a few days ago, there is a load remover for LiveSplit that will pause the timer during loading segments when CNK is played on the Dolphin emulator. It pauses anytime a loading screen appears as well as during the lag frames that precede the loading screens themselves. The plugin is memory-base
