@trentthekid642 you can leave the great plateau without activating the shrines but yes, i forgot about the spirit orbs, also it might be smart to collect the bomb rune so you can beat ganon with just them

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get the spirit orb without getting the runes the monk will just say "go back and get the rune from the pedestal" unless you can find a way to get passed that it won't work. So for now it is impossible to get the skip the runes.

@BananaGuy you can wrong warp into other shrines and get the spirit orbs from there without needing to get the runes

I don't think a shield would be required. Also there could be subcategories ig that are easier

I agree with @mikey. if the easiest way to beat the game is with just bombs, then it will just turn into twilight princess low%, staring at rupees for 17 hours.

Didn't know about that glitch sorry @archetypespeedruns so basically you just beat the game with the bombs rune and that's it

well and paraglider and spirit orbs and bow of light

but no other runes

so low% would be:

sheikah slate 4 spirit orbs bomb rune paraglider bow of light

that's it

well if we can skip the other runes we can skip the sheikah slate

yes, but if we use weapons for the ganon fights, we will end up breaking more items than just the sheikah slate and bomb rune, so the bomb rune would be most efficient

but you dont need the sheikah slate to get bombs

Though it may seem so you dont actually need the sheikah slate to get and use runes

So then it's just paraglider and bow of light if we can skip the shieka slate? But honestly I would think that the Shieka Slate would be required since you need the shieka slate for apparatus storage.

you wouldn't need apparatus storage since youre already wrong warping into other shrines, yes it would require getting the sheikah slate on the other file but we can say items from the set up file dont count

you need the sheikah slate to get the bomb rune also apparatus storage is not required unless you want to wrong warp, which is done in a different save file to the one where the skip is performed

We would need a shield for phase 2 calamity ganon as well though right? Or is there a method of damaging him besides parries or flurry rushes?
