"Normal" is the equivalent of Any%, played without any changes made to the config file.
"No glitching through walls or exploiting the game in any way" "Vsync enabled" "Normal" lol
Wouldn't the current "Normal" category be better named as "Glitchless any%"?
So Zefies question is really valid, where is the most common speedrunning category "any%"
Any% should be "Vsync off" and with "Glitches", since I use one in my run which has been verified and approved. The category just needs to be renamed.
They should drop the whole "No glitches, no exploiting the game in any way" because the run is barely ~1:45 long, what exploits or glitches can you possibly do to break it any further than it already is?
I also feel they should remove the first category and just keep "Any%" and let people play how they want. Turning Vsync off for a game shouldn't determine what category you're running. It's like saying "you're not allowed to have the game installed on an SSD" because the people with an SSD will (in most cases) have the faster time. If we have a category for Vsync on and Vsync off, let's go ahead and make a category for SSD and different RPM speeds of HDDs.
It should be simplified, delete 1 category and rename the first to "Any%".
