UVHM Geared Sal help

So I've been away from the game for about a couple years but have some time to run for a little while. I just watched the WR for UVHM Geared Sal and I realized that so much has changed and I just had a few questions on the way these unfamiliar strats worked.

  1. How does the swordsplosion on the beacon thing work? (like I know that de-equiping it can make it hurt friendly targets but like how would I use this stat to skip beacon)? 2.Why all the extra save quits during End of The Line?
  2. Which extra missions need to be picked up and when do you trigger their dialogue to skip other dialogue?

  1. There's really nothing to it other than breaking and repairing the beacon 8 times. It probably works that way to help out people who are really really bad at protecting it.
  2. Quit #1 is to restore action skill, #2 makes it so you can pick up the beacon faster , #4 skips some dialog that makes it so you can go to sanctuary right away. I assume the third quit right after the second makes some area available sooner (Maybe the fridge?), but I'm not sure on that.
  3. You really just have to watch the run and take notes for that.

Thank you both, I was hoping there would be a list of which missions cancel which, but I’ll just skim thru the VOD and make my own notes.
