I've been interested in potentially running any% and current patch any% for a bit now and the only things that really holding me is LiveSplit. I've been wondering for a while now how do people use and time splits the proper way. Is there some special thing I'm supposed to use so that the timer stops during loading times and such? Also, do people manually start the first split and the last split? Wouldn't that potentially affect the time if the person running hits it ever so slightly earlier or later ? Sorry if some of these questions seem a bit dumb.

Sorry if this is really simple and im just being a bit of a doof right now but i cant seem to find this active setting ? Is this active setting what makes it stop on load screens ?

if you go to "edit splits" and add "Borderlands 2" as the game, an option should show up to activate/deactivate the load remover. The timer starts and should stop on its own (only for new game runs)

So after trying two runs with it i can say that it properly starts the timer on its own but did not end on its own sadly. Is that a setting i maybe messed up ?

ive heard it just doesnt work for some people, not a big deal though you will most likely stop your timer within a second of touching the key.
