In Goo Lagoon there is a golden spatula you get by having Patrick throw a throw-fruit at a button and hop across floating objects, however, this requires a payment of shiny objects to the clam. When you pay the clam the button will pop out of the water, but if you simply aim for the area the button pops up in and throw a throw fruit, it will trigger the button even without paying the clam. It may take a few tries but it is incredibly easy. I'm not entirely sure that I am the first person to find this but I have not seen anyone else doing it. I found this on PS2.

This is the same reason that shooting the invisible button with a cruise missile works. It's faster in most routes to do moat in late game anyway so we just use the missile.

You normally hit the invisible button with the cruise bubble. It's faster.

Thanks, everyone for telling me that I guess I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to BFBB speedruns. So I guess this is more of a 100% tactic.
