How to lower the FPS of Ball at Work
Updated 3 years ago by Thog_n

As of the 2.2.1 patch, Rapid Wall Jumps (RWJ for short) have been "patched" making Glitchless the new, main category. However, they have not been fully patched. Just made a lot harder, but by lowering the FPS, you can make RWJ consistent again.

Uses for lowering the FPS: The obvious one is to make RWJ viable in runs again, but, Glitchless runners can also make use of this trick. Mainly in 7 to save 4 seconds. This should also make the 17 coffee jump possible but Im too lazy to record that so you will just have to take my word for it. Example:

How to lower your FPS: First you have to download MSI afterburner, link to the website is here: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/msi-afterburner-beta-download.html Next you have to unzip the file. This can be done with winRaR, but I wont get into how to download winrar here. Then you have to run the "MSIafterburnerSetup462". Note that this might not be the actual name of the file but it should be very similar. After downloading, you should have 2 files. One is MSI afterburner and the other is RivaTuner. Open MSI afterburner. Click on settings, monitoring, and scroll down and doubleclick "Framerate". Next, go to "Show Hidden Icons" on the bottom right of you screen (if you are on windows 10). Open the one that says "RivaTuner". It should look like a monitor with a 60 in the top right. Finally, go to Framerate Limit and change it to your preferred value. 15-20 FPS is still playable while allowing RWJs to be consistnet.

Congrats, if you did everything correctly you can now lower your FPS however you want.

Notes: Sadly from my knowledge this is not possible on the Mac version. The only work around I can think of is to either purposely slow down your PC with extra applications or to get a Windows VM.
