From my research, because I'm also a mac user, there is no alternative for xMouse.

As long as you can provide evidence to the moderators that this alternate program doesn't give any sort of advantage that xmouse doesn't then I see no reason to not allow it. I recommend joining the discord and chatting with the moderators there.
