I gave up running All C-sides months ago because I couldn’t beat my old PB of 9:30 something and my only two recorded runs were both rejected because I didn’t follow rules regarding timing and proving the game version. I got back in a month or so ago and grinded until I near lost my mind and yesterday I finally PB’d, 8:22.367. It got verified! I decided to “take a break” but the next day I went back to try certain C-sides with the Joy-con D-pads instead of the control stick and I was finding some surprising consistency. I did some piss runs and the last run I was gonna do today I PB’D AGAIN. SUB 8, 7:45.409. VERIFIED AGAIN! I’M BACK BABY!!!!!!! It just feels great to commit to the grind and get a massive payoff.
look thats great and all but why make an entire thread about it lol
Idk I just wanted to share it, if there was a better way to do that let me know! I’m not very active on Speedrun.com so I don’t know all of the features
The best way to do it is probably the #pb_posting channel under the Speedrunning section of the Discord server. Good luck on future runs.
