timing

I've been getting decent times on the tutorial any% runs, and I can record them, but lack the means to time it. I'm not sure how to make a timer start on a specific frame and end on a specific frame. Any Advice?

I believe it is the second you gain control of your character

United States

It's supposed to start on the frame you gain control of your character but I don't know how to do that

United States

I don't use Livesplit for this. I time my runs after the fact.

I open my runs in video editing software (in my case, MAGIX/Sony Vegas) and find these two frames as start and end points.

Start

End
