so im trying to capture my emulator in obs but i can't figure out how to get it to display the bar that says what emulator im using since thats part of the rules

I also didn't show it in my obsolete emulator runs. Make sure to enable fps count and use the newest version of whatever emulator you are using and you should be good.

Which emulator are you using? Typically, the best way to handle this is to create a separate window capture for the window that pops up when you open the About dialog box that has the version info. Also note that this is only required for submissions in the top 20% of runs (but it is a good habit to get into).
