This game being on Speedrun means there's probably a run somewhere? In any case, if there is a discord or anything, i found some broken things (which are probably known already) that i'll share if it helps save any time on the run.

Yeah, I haven't got around to running this game properly yet, sorry for the empty leaderboards. There's the official discord but it doesn't have a speedrunning channel, since no one has run the game yet, but you can probably ask them to make one.

If you don't mind sharing, I'm a little curious what you found too. I'd been tosing around the idea of trying a run for a bit but the game's hard enough to be consistent at that I can't really get satisfied with my play.

I was looking a bit for any significant skips and coudn't find anything so that would definitely be cool. Unless you just mean broken in terms of effective movement/combat strategies. Well, those are nice too honestly

I'll just put the links here. These are some clips of my casual playthrough of things I found. I normally run MVs, so i tend to find things sometimes.

These are all pretty cool. I actually fell through the death plane twice during my casual playthrough but both times I somehow died down there anyway and lost my soul in a completely unrecoverable location so I sorta assumed it was not useful.

That said I'm not sure any of them are super useful? Seems more like you pass through non-collision objects than you pass through walls, although I suppose it's possible that walls coating in spikes just don't have any collision on them in the first place. These also don't work (except the boss cheese maybe?) in the latest version, unless I'm just doing something totally wrong.

Anyway, I decided to finally sit down and do a full game run. Any%, noctis mode, 3:31:15 IGT. I think IGT makes more sense to measure with here since it cuts out differences in loading speeds (this run had like 30 minutes worth of time lost to loading and etc, is my computer really bad??) and is conveniently displayed for you on the endcard.

I could submit this, but also it has a unity crash in it <_<. Ultimately, if it's ingame time being used, this doesn't actually change anything, but it sure looks weird. If it's real time that gets used, this would need retiming since I paused my livesplit during the crash (figuring the livesplit was more for personal reference I'd rather keep the crash time out of it).

I'm not really sure what the standards are for submitting runs that have game crashes in them. That said I don't think I'll do another one any time soon regardless of what happens with this one since my forearm/wrist are actually a little sore the day after, there is just too much constant repetitive button pressing between jump / dash / attack / teleport.
