I wanted to submit a run, but I actually own a version of adventure in some official form, and was curious if it would be allowed for submission? If I actually have the game, I would rather get it on actual console as opposed to Emu. Atari 2600 Plug N Play, from 2002. |

That is an emulator isn't it? Pretty sure I have one of those myself. |

I would imagine, but just wanted to be sure.. xD The sound is a bit different from my understanding, but I don't have a VCS to compare anymore 🙁 |

I was given one as a gift. I tried it and, yeah, it just didn't seem right. Might just be a rewrite and not even a proper emulation. |

I was looking at picking up one of the newest Atari Flashback Gold for the HDMI out and the Bluetooth joysticks. If I used that, would it count as doing it on hardware and not as an emulator? |

Well it's an official re-release. So we'd mark it as a separate console. If it's inaccurately emulated we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. |

I would however advice still using an original controller with the flashback though. I havent tried the most recent flashback so maybe using bluetooth rather than IR fixed it, but the others have all been really bad for input lag and dropped inputs. |
