How to get the fastest times for 2k and below

512: For fast 512s you have to learn how to mash fast. Here are two approaches: Jitterclicking: The fastest 512s in history have been achieved with this method. You flex the muscles in your arms, which causes your hands to vibrate. Instead of doing this on a mouse, you do this on a keyboard. Try alternating hands, so instead of a surge of speed you have a consistent speed and a better overview of the board. ( https://www.wikihow.com/Jitter-Click ) Using the numpad: This strategy is a bit more consistent and easier to do. You add keys by using the numpad, this can go up to 8 keys, it takes a bit to adapt but it is worth it in the end. Here are some examples of fast 512s:

1k: For fast 1ks you have to learn how to mash fast but there’s more strategy to it. Here are some approaches: Get a slower 512 in the corner: Instead of mashing as fast as you can for 512, you slow down, get one in the corner and use your physical speed from 512 -> 1k. Get a fast 512 and play it out: Mash as fast as you can for 512, have it be 3 spots away from your preferred corner, and work towards the corner like this: 512 256 128 (you build into the 128) Here are some examples of fast 1ks:

2k: For fast 2ks you have to be able to mash relatively fast, know a strategy that works for you and think quickly. Here are some approaches: Going for the fast second 1k: You don’t go too fast for the first 1k, so you get them consistently, then you mash as fast as you can in the second 1k where possible. You're able to get more attempts in this way. Going for a fast first 1k: You use the strategies above and give yourself more time for the second 1k. (for the fastest 2ks you try to get a fast first 1k and a fast second 1k of course) The shifted 1k: You shift your first 1k and come in from behind on the 256, which can be faster if you use full speed. Here are some examples of fast 2ks:
