Nakuri: We have capacity for 500+ attendees at the event. Considering yearly steady growth, we estimate around 300 attendees this year.
General mass housing area is estimated for ~125 attendees. If all those tickets are sold out, we have a plan B and a plan C.
As for hotels, they have combined around 200 rooms in total. 600+ beds. We will let know know if there's becoming a shortage of any particular room type. Closer to the event, we will the hotel situation every other week or when appropriate.
If you have already made plans to attend ESA, we do recommend purchasing your ticket and make your accommodations reservations as early as possible!

geurge: We are going to be using a new automated payment solution where you can select those additional options to you ESA2016 attendance.
You will then receive a printable PDF ticket and/or a ticket which will be available to a smartphone app. Which we will scan when you arrive.
Payment options will be all major credit / debit cards and Paypal.

Travel resources:
Växjö lies on the railway line from Gothenburg and Copenhagen to Kalmar. Travellers from Stockholm will have to make one brief change in Alvesta.
International travellers should book a flight to Copenhagen (Kastrup) Airport. It is now more commonly known by the city name, but you should be aware of the old name in case some booking systems show it.
The Øresundståg trains to Växjö run directly from the airport train station. Tickets cost 310DKK each way, and are bookable online at SJ.se. An Øresundståg ticket is valid for any train 3 hours before or after the stated time, and no re-booking is required.
Växjö Småland airport has a limited number of routes, but particularly the flights from Weeze and Prague may be convenient for you. Their website has details. A direct bus runs from the airport to the venue, and takes 20 minutes.

[big][center]General information[/center][/big] In order to improve ESA2016, we want to start working early. However, with the bank account being totally dry and private parties pitching in money each month to keep the event afloat we’ve decided to ask the community for help.
During the time period of January 29th to 31st we want to organise an online marathon to benefit ESA. We’re hoping to raise a modest 1000€, which will cover the rent for the storage unit until ESA2016 and materials to construct four new and improved streaming stations. Any surplus funds raised will go into a fund to improve the on-site experience for ESA2016.
The 4 streaming stations will be built and assembled live on a pirate stream during the online marathon. We feel that it’s important that we show how they money is being spent. The streaming stations are compact, stackable and movable tables with room for A/V equipment, designed to be used as base for CRT / LCD monitors, much like a 90's TV bench. The low total height of the units are very important as they allow us to position the camera above the monitor while being at eye level with the couch so we can get back to the intimate feeling of early marathons.

The first draft schedule was up for a couple of days, and we only needed to make a minor change to fit people in. As such, we are willing to call the schedule official at this point.

I would just like to echo Crippe's post (and leave further feedback for later). I second everything and take full responsibility. I overlooked several things in the cleaning process. Especially the above mentioned shopping cart / sofa / broken TV.
Apart from Crippe and Niss3, who always goes above and beyond, a few special persons should be given special credit for helping out with the cleaning throughout the entire night. I believe we stopped at 3 AM? Rueake, Cerberus and GlitchesAndStuff who were the only three out of all of the attendees that dug in and powered through. For that, I'm eternally grateful! There were a handful others who were a great help, AMVX, pac, Alko, Tompa, Oasiz, Adam, Maral, Bang and Suzy (probably missed someone, but you know who you are). But where were you other guys?
Cleaning has become worse over the years. The ratio of attendees who gives a fuck in relation to the total amount of attendees have rapidly decreased. To the point where it's unsustainable.
We'd appreciate your feedback right now from this moment on.
We will be reviewing the event ourselves and get our analysis out within a few weeks time.
