ok changed the rules so timing ends when you get tape 11, but you still have to show the fade to white after the final tape ends, which means dont die after getting 11. otherwise there's no way to know you got 11.
I recommend having a split for each tape tbh, sometimes you can pickup tapes and not know.
idk if I'm gonna retime the 3 runs on the board or not, I might just run this game again soon tbh and just submit a new run myself.

Do you have it on video? If you can reproduce it and local record it with obs, that would be helpful. Also did you play with story stuff turned off? Cause that's what the game is run with right now since nobody has requested a story mode% yet (I hear that mode has a double speed glitch too outside of boss fights if you use a controller on top of arrow keys)
just reread your comment. do you want a 1 player 2 controller category? if you have a run or interest in submitting that since you said you did it before, I'll make that as well. won't change the main category to allow that since I don't want to force people to play the game with their feet since it would probably be faster if you can have both hands on the keyboard the entire time.

Also I just changed it to co-op with no restrictions on control methods. 2p 1 keyboard, 1 controller 1 keyboard, 2p1c (please dont') it doesn't matter

I thought it was fixed in update 4, but there's a bug in level 9 any time when a guided laser comes out, but mostly on phase 5 and once on phase 6 for me, where the game will crash.
It didn't affect me at all until practicing the level today, and it's only happened the faster I've gotten at this level, so my best guess is that if you type a letter at the same exact time that it spawns the 1st laser it crashes.
It shouldn't be a problem if you're newer, but the faster you get at the pope level, the more likely it is to crash at that part.
I found out at the start of this update you can just kinda wait for the lasers to come out and it doesnt crash anymore, but you have to 1) type more words with numbers in them 2) go slower.
the error message will look like this, if you get it go post it on the bug thread on the forum or something so it gets fixed.

honestly I don't think you can do keyboard and controller, it's a single player game as far as I know. If I'm wrong let me know and I'll change it, but I think it's 1 control device at a time.
Good rule of thumb for new categories is just do it on video and then ask for the category after.
that phase is so stressful and I'm hoping there's a way to deal with it instead of just go slow and careful.
again, checked here being there, she disappeared after killing the boss after seeing her with my own eyes. this happened twice. only thing that was the same between runs was that I killed the boss on the right side of the room and touched the spiderweb gate. pretty sure that's what causes the bug since I've yet to not see her in the top right and she disappears after the spider's death.
edit: I used the potion kinda early in one of my runs and yeah I'm pretty sure it's the spider web thing at this point. don't touch it = no soft lock. just stay away, then hold up and run out.
wait i think you just dont touch the spider web gate until it blows up. otherwise I dont know.
i had a fast fight and she despawned after being there, i have no idea
I've managed to avoid it in most runs, but sometimes the cheerleader just isnt there and it worries me. Waiting to grab the key and walking over to the breakable wall tends to help make sure the cheerleader spawns in, but one time it just didn't doing the exact same thing. I've been making sure to go to the top left when I enter the spider room to make sure she's there since my last softlock and she hasn't left since.
I'm still just guessing though, if somebody who has done a TAS of this game or anyone with more game knowledge can tell me what causes it for sure, cause this would make the this level a little less stressful. I'm hoping it's not tied to a frame like the item drops and ends up being a roll of the dice, I'm hoping it's consistently avoidable.

It didn't add a new chamber, so I think the current category stands; however it added and IN GAME TIMER so I'm going to add a column for in game time. This wont affect old runs, but new ones will need IGT. Will need to see if it's an accurate timer or not, but for now seems pretty neat. Turn it on from the options similar to other games like enter the gungeon. It pauses time on boon screens too, so that's interesting, fast menuing not required I guess.
Join the discord to help figure more junk out and so I can make more mods and stuff. The strategy will probably change slightly, but I can see it being pretty much the same grind for getting crits + damage, but I dont know for sure, share ideas/ any glitches there so we can break the game. Link is in the side menu.
There's the basis for a new category on that punishment menu for a Max Punishment%, but that will take some grinding to get to. Once somebody does a run of that with a recording and lets me know (or potentially any future mods know) it will be added.

forgot to edit this sooner, but yeah, new category because the in game timer is pretty good to the point where it's silly to ask for RTA on top of the IGT. Also the balance changes are enough that different strats are being used and it ends up different enough where trying to compare this patch to the old one on the same board would be confusing. If the next patch in february doesnt add Elysium, it's unlikely this will get moved to misc so soon, but I'm holding out hope it comes out then mostly so someone can submit this game to sgdq and zag can escape hell, but also idk about anyone else, but I'm getting tired of bone hydra and I want to go beyond.
Current plan is to move obsoleted categories to a miscellaneous category until eventually we have the full game where it just becomes any%. If anyone comes up with other categories, let me know, but same thing will happen if they add more game to the game, it goes in the misc pile. Only other category I can think of right now is like new save file% but idk if anyone would do that, the game pretty much requires you to die a few times.
edit: oh yeah, as far as other weapons go, I'm of the opinion it doesn't matter what you use, but if anyone wants to have different weapons included I can do what I did on receiver or what they did for characters on the Gungeon board and add a "Weapon Used" variable so you can have multiple runs for each weapon that appear on the same leaderboard. right now there's hardly anybody here, so I'm not sure it's worth it, but once the full game is out, for sure.

I dont have a good way to time these, but can someone see how long it takes when 1) pumkin eats something, 2) pumkin dont want that, 3) his 15 ending, 4) his 20 ending.
I wanna know if getting a 20 is faster just off of no "i dont want that"'s and that the longer outro doesnt ruin it.
Receiver guy offline from the site for a month now, unable to be reached, been waiting on my runs for 2 weeks now. All the guy's activity was 11 months ago, both forum posts and submitted runs so if he's "relatively active" then so are rocks. Guy only mods games where he is the only runner of it ever so I dont think he's coming around to check on these games.
I don't understand the pushback here.
