Consider using a zero width space to break formatting instead: _hello_

I only see one run I don't follow on the front page, at the top
I want more, and I want them at the bottom. I think the latter is true for everyone.
I also don't want followed game's runs to show.up after like a week or a few days
I think it looks fine, but for me it's showing only runs from games I follow. Some of which are almost a month old (https://www.speedrun.com/granny_3_pc/run/yopqrx1m this run is still showing for me). I think I'd prefer to see only the recent runs within a few days or a week, and then fill in the rest with random recent runs. Is that possible?
I 100% agree that when this happens, almost every time I would prefer the ones without precision to be preferred less. Not that it should really ever happen ideally - but when this scenario exists (which it does) - having no precision should always be preferred worse than having precision
Have you tried turning down LiveSplit's refresh rate? Right click -> Settings, turn it down to see if it helps at all
I was recommended by the DefinitelyTyped team (that manages @types) that it wouldn't be good to have there. That was the original goal - but you should just be able to install the package as a dev dependency just fine, would that not solve your issue?
note that i haven't exactly tested this much
In Sound Mind has huge skips that would be too much to detail here. Watch the any% run and you would see levels being loaded on top of each other, levels being completely deloaded, getting crucial items early for large sequence breaks, all as a result of a single glitch - BTO (Back To Office).
Like with anything - do it a lot, because it won't come naturally. Make your practice purposeful - practice specific tricks, get feedback often, be critical of yourself. Make sure you know what you're lacking on and that you actively work to fix it / adjust for it.
It's a looot of practice. And often I find that labbing out new tricks myself help me understand the game more.
Compare your splits to others in your range or at the top level. Where do you lose the most time? Why? Practice those the most.
Where do you reset a lot? Consider taking a safer but slower route for now so you can complete more runs, then slowly work your way towards the hard stuff. Doing something like a setupless cannonless in M64 will be really fast once in a while, but you will get nowhere a) in other areas of the run, which also need your attention or b ) completing runs in general.
Constructive criticism, taking feedback to heart, and consistent, intentional practice makes perfect.
There's no easy way to get better, and it varies with every game.
I also think that there are cases in which marking them as unranked is okay. I think the option should still be given, especially as its been a feature for a while
All they need to do is when you click "Load more runs..." have it load the next 1000 and append to the current 1000, instead of refetching all many thousands of runs at once (including the originally loaded 1000, I imagine). Similar to the Games page. Basically pagination but hidden.
Excited to hear about a new backend... does that mean we'll be getting an API v2 after all?
Great update! Glad to see the chronological/alphabetical/custom options used, too, since I think I suggested that.
Just one thing - I'm happy with custom game groups being supporter-only, but could you give free users access to one extra group other than default? It would let me make a distinction between "custom" runs and the rest which are chronological, I think there's little most of us can do with just one group. Might also instill a greater sense of pride in people's profiles, which could convince people to group the rest of their games? I don't know, but for now I have to leave it as chronological
Also, for the floating save button and "This page has changes" - could you add a discard button? To discard the changes and go back to the previously saved state.
Other than that... looks great! Could you show the UI for adding custom groups and changing their colours/titles etc?
