Are you in CSSC discord Tygerman? It'd be a lot easier to discuss this there if you're not so we can get to the bottom of the issue because I just tested the autosplitter and it worked fine for me

Right click on your splits > Edit Splits > Activate Autosplitter (make sure you dont have any kind of autosplitter enabled in Edit Layout, this would cause a confliction and it won't work correctly).

We'd still retime the run anyway for accuracy but this does make our job slightly easier.

Edit: Something that a lot of folks overlook - make sure you have the correct game selected in Edit Splits. It should look like this

If you're on emulator right click on splits > Edit Splits > Activate Autosplitter. The timing method for the game is IGT, so you would be adding up the time on the top left corner after every act.

Just to note, we have seen this and we are in the process of forming a response.

In light of having to reject a run recently due to a modded rom that adjusted more than game music, I feel it necessary to come back to this thread and clarify that official versions of the game will only be accepted. Runs on modded roms of any kind will be rejected. It's very simple to adjust the music, as outlined by the document created by Xandre(replacing tracks within the folders of the CD rom).

If any further clarification is required, feel free to reach out to the mod team.

Hi all.

Due to the changing landscape of Classic Sonic Speedrunning and to bring Sonic 2 more in line with S3K, the mod team have decided to remove any IL's that contain checkpoint abuse or any other form of abuse that can't be replicated in normal play. Any other Legacy runs that follow the current guidelines of submission will remain up.
