Virginia, USAYeah ofc! Retroarch is a very reputable emulator when configured correctly so I have no issue w/ it. On top of this being a fan project & category extensions, we dont really have a expectation of accuracy after a certain point so it would be silly to police what is and isnt acceptable beyond some base expectations.
Plus, I myself am not very experienced in the Genesis department and have only used Fusion for a singular game (Desert Bus), so it was my best guess at an acceptable emulator that I knew was something easy to access and reliable to use.
Would you mind providing some reputable links to the requested resources? As long as they are publicly available I see little reason to deny a more enjoyable, or at least accurate, experience.

im not sure. I doubt it has something to do with beating the game first, but if you havent, you could try that? But, ill leave this thread open so we can stay updated if we discover something.
we use IGT for levels, not RTA. IGT is loadless so for the most optimal experience it would be after the loading of the selected level

The linked discord has a channel that can provide you some translated images from the Japanese guide. Outside of that there's unfortunately not much i can offer you besides general discussion.
General advice though is that the game operates like rock paper scissors but the AI has "tendencies" to play certain ways. The biggest aspect of the route is who you fight for blue colour and when you challenge them.
The issue has been reassessed and emulators are now allowed
We have decided to allow RPCS3 and Xenia at this time. Stability it always an issue to be aware of but until that point enjoy additional accessibility
