Well, you should probably ask this question in the minecraft java forums, not here. But there are some performance enhancing mods that are allowed. For pre 1.16, you can use optifine, but it is banned for 1.16+. For 1.16, you can use phosphor, lithium, or sodium.

My pc also runs minecraft poorly, and if you want to keep the game vanilla, you can always turn down your render distance, change the graphic quality, turn off clouds, and close all other applications running in the background.

I'm going to ask this in the feedback form and here. I doubt that changes to the site layout will happen soon, so I have a smaller suggestion. When you edit the description of a run, the run has to be verified again. I think that edited runs should only be resubmitted if changes to the video link or time are changed, but edits to the description shouldn't. I don't want to have to wait a week every time I want to fix a typo

The ComSoB is currently a 4:54.315, and you can see a really cool video about it here: It is slightly obsolete though because niftski beat the 8-4 world record the same day the video was uploaded Making a leaderboard for it doesn't make much sense though

By complete accident, I got a new personal best with the glitch. I also now have a better understanding of how it works, and it is completely deterministic. For some reason, when you hit a ceiling, you can jump again (the jump sound effect plays if you do). If you jump and hit the ceiling at the corner and do the glitchy jump again, you can do a double jump

https://www.speedrun.com/gbt has about 150 runners. Most of the main categories are optimized, but some of the category extensions and main categories aren't that good. It's easy to learn, and runs are usually less than 2 minutes long
