@Wrighty if we found a way to completely skip the part until you get to control mario, sub 3 would just about be possible

well i knew the quickest time you can get to the jump and take control of mario, and i paused the timer at exactly that time, spund and as soon as i jumped started the timer

i tested, best theoretical time possible is 39.51 with pixel perfect inputs =)

i got a 40.74 yay i guess xD
